Moreno & Fábrega is a small law firm founded in 1960 by Miguel J. Moreno Jr.(+) and Jorge Fábrega P. (+), and ever since has been providing legal services with a tradition of dedication and professionalism.
Dr. Miguel J Moreno Jr.(+), a former Minister of Foreign Relations, held among other positions: Panamanian Ambassador of the General Assembly of the United Nations, Ambassador to the Organization of American States, Ambassador before the United States of America, President of the Council of Foreign Relations of Panama, member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague.
Dr. Jorge Fábrega P.(+) was a professor of Civil Procedure, Labor Law and Political Science at the University of Panama, and author of several publications.
In addition has held very important official positions, among others Chairman of the Committee that prepared the existing Labor Law, the Judicial Code (Civil Procedure). He was also Alternate Justice of the Supreme Court on two different occasions.
Mrs. Fábrega and Moreno de Arosemena joined as partners since 1996, and are specialized in Civil, Commerce, Public Contracts, Immigration, Labor, Privatization processes, and Civil and Commercial Litigation.
At present, Ms Anya De Obaldía and Julio Espinal are associates. Luis Ramón Fábrega, a Supreme Court justice, is on leave of absence.
